Parent Study Group with Dr. Jordan Paul
Come Home to Your Heart to Become Your Own Hero
(and your child's).

Focus: Learning to become more loving to our children and to
ourselves, especially during times of upset.

Focus: Learning how to meet another person's needs while being in integrity
with our own.

Teaching kids to deal with their upsets in respectful ways requires parents
modeling that behavior. Few of us learned this in childhood. Rather, we learned
to meet the needs of others prior to meeting our own or that by taking care of other
people's needs, they would in turn, take care of ours. Or, we learned to get our needs
met by ignoring the needs of others.

• Designed for adults who are ready to go beyond traditional authoritarian, permissive or co-dependent behaviors and learn a new parenting skill. By learning to stay connected to your heart in the face of difficulties you will nurture both yourself and your child while experiencing the joys of family life more of the time.

*This study group is designed for adults who want to surrender their need to control by having a willingness to learn while opening their heart to being compassionate towards themselves and others. It also supports spiritual seekers and adults who would like support 'feeling' their feelings, as they let go of 'spiritually bi-passing' their humanness.
