Who's
in control any way...
by

When
your
son or
daughter
is yelling 'No' at
you when
you ask
them
to do
something and slams a door to make sure you've
heard them ...
you know
they're
only communicating what's on the surface. These
are
steps you could
take with your indigo kids to eliminate
a power
struggle
while building healthy,
more trusting
relationships.
1. After scanning what
is going on, take a BREATH and do your
best
to assess the situation without judgment.
2. While
moving your self or others out of harms
way whenever necessary,
speak or feel
peace and love by repeating these words
or spelling them out loud.
When you
FEEL centered and the situation has
calmed down -that's the time
to discuss
the issue with your kids.
3. During
discussion time, do your best to remember that
every incident is
a LEARNING moment. When centered
( you may need to take a time out your
self to
get there (see tools
along the way as a resource), ask
what happened
and how it made your child feel.
Become aware of your level of acceptance of your child's
feelings
and your own.
4. Reach
an agreement on how you would all like
to see things look in the future.
Ex 1: "When you clean your room for your weekly
allowance, that means the bed
is made and your things
are picked up off the floor and put away." Being
specific
about what your needs look like can help a child
get clear as to what you expect
of them. If the child
volunteers what they can do and it's different from
your
scenerio yet acceptable within your house guidelines,
you've got a win/win.
Ex 2: If your child
says "I just won't do anyting around here to help"
align yourself with what are suitable consequences -
such as no allowance or trips
to the mall until the room
is picked up or until a mutual cooperative agreement
is
worked out rather than fighting for power, control
or respect.
Be
mindful that indigos have an inherent
need for Truth and
Fairness. Reward
them for sharing what's true for
them with a hug,
time chatting, playing
games or listening to music together.

Special
Note to Moms
from Wellness Intuitive, Tcha LaPlaca
As
mothers, it's helpful to become aware of and
heal the limiting beliefs and
patterns that
get in the way of caring for our selves...especially
today as we juggle balancing work, play and
being a parent.
As
indigos, there are lots of heavenly
resources available, if we remember
to ask, that enjoy helping us 'cut thru the
mustard' as we move forward in our
evolutionary
growth. To assist us in coming back into balance
when we're
over doing it,

Practitioner.
What's
essential to remember is that you're a person
deserving support.
Become aware of when you internally listen to the cultural archetype known
as the martyr, who energetically seduces you 'to just take what's being dished
out' or the inner judge who repetitiously scolds you for 'not being perfect'.
Instead, choose to love your self in moments it feels overwhelming, (it's a great
fear dismantler). Nutritional supplements that raise your vibration and fortify
your immune system like VIBE taken
on a daily basis also strengthens your resolve to take good care of you as you
care for others. Ask for guidance and support from your
Higher Self. For steps to letting go of the inner critic, click

Heavenly
Tips from our resident Indigo Gardner, Martha Wertz
As
an indigo mom to seven children and former public
school teacher for 25 years, Martha shares 'resources from
above and below' you can access
during
seemingly out-of-control moments with
your kids.
Angelic
Suggestion: Calling upon angels
and archangels is easy
and supportive when you choose to believe in yourself
and them.
Doreen Virtue's Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards open the
door to
this kingdom of grace and ease.
Mother
Mary is WONDERFUL during stressful times with
children.
She is a guardian of Mothers and children and can help
you work
through the situation with wisdom, compassion and love.
Archangel Metatron is also helpful to travel with and
guide your indigo
child as they learn the ways of this world. Call on
them often to be with
YOU and your child.
Power Animal Suggestion: Each animal offers a unique power,
gift or message that assists us on the earth if we call upon it with
reverence and gratitude. The book, ANIMAL-SPEAK, The
Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creators Great & Small, offers much
insight into animal wisdom.
In regards to parenting your children I recommend calling on the
Hawk, the messenger. Hawk helps you to see the issue more clearly,
from a Higher Perspective, and offer you what the message or lesson
is in the situation. Hawk also helps you know what to say while
conversing with your child.
Aromatherapy Suggestion: Pure Essential Oils are life-enhancing
gifts from the plant kingdom that deliver positive benefits to the body,
mind and spirit through smell, direct absorption into the skin, and by
digesting them. Antiseptic, calming, stimulating, soothing, essential oils
assisting bringing balance to all systems of the body.
Breathe in PEACE & CALMING for yourself to regain center to deal
with this challenging issue. Also benefits the child or yourself by
placing it on the back of the neck to calm the fight or flight response.
A tree oil, such as Cedarwood or Balsam Fir is also very beneficial for
grounding and standing in one's wisdom.
